    Cang Toys has done it again. Pterhowl is a monster in hand (literally, figuratively and metaphorically speaking). As a proud owner of their Stegs and now, their Pterhowl, I am ready for the rest of the team and to complete this set. Like Stegs, Pterhowl is a true masterpiece. In both robot and beast modes, his wings are insanely large. An impressive size considering what his beast mode is and what he becomes. He makes an impressive left (or right) arm for combined mode, depending on which way you prefer to have him in. Like Stegs, Pterhowl is well crafted, well detailed, well designed, can hold his weapons no problem and just like Stegs, Pterhowl's weapons are multi-functional, giving you a full range of display options. In robot mode, he can be displayed with or without his massive wings (whichever you prefer). Really love the Gundam-esque vibes these figures give off. Alongside his accessories and such that he comes with, Pterhowl comes in a giant, fully glossy printed box, padded in Styrofoam and is packed with a lenticular "poster", a lenticular card, a regular high gloss collector's card and instruction manual. He also comes with the hand of Longyan that forms half of D-Spider. The next in line of this set is Breakhorn and just like Pterhowl, he comes with the other hand of Longyan that forms the other half of D-Spider. Unfortunately, no red envelopes this time to roll in the new year as it was included with Stegs, but not really a deal breaker. Getting him in arm mode is easy and once you get him there, he's solid as a brick. No matter how hard you shake him, you don't have to worry about anything coming loose or flying off, going anywhere. Same with Stegs. If you're on the fence about jumping in on this set or just picking this figure up as a standalone, then I say go for it and do it. These figures DO NOT disappoint. You'll be glad that you got 'em. But don't take my word for it.
