    Its an excellent figure an, all things considered, my favourite optimus prime since MP10. It isn't as solid feeling as TE-01 but the articulation is a lot better to it balances out. Robot mode is stunning and can pull off some excellent poses. Transformation is complex but pretty straightforward. For this price its a bargain

    1. Likeness: Bot: Obviously a toon mold, but most of the accents are there, in paint! The notable differences are the Chrome, the holes vs yellow details, the shape of the head and the wheels on the side of the legs. Truck: Here it comes closer, but still the Chrome! Also, the shape of the truck, G1 is more squished in details, and more boxy over all. Score: 7 2. Gimmicks: Opening doors, axe as hand ability, adapter for two different trailers. Score: 8 3. Cleanliness: Bot: Minimal backpack, and all hidden away in the legs and such. Truck: a bit too panely, especially around the doors and windows. The carrige on the other hand... Score: 8 4. Paint: A bit powdery on the details, but looks awsome on a shelf! A beautiful figure for sure! Score: 9 5. Transformation: Worse than MP-44 in my meaning, it simply doesn't want to come together in the final steps

    The quality and color of the MS-02TC optimus prime, one of the Magic Square optimus prime figures, are excellent. It's more advanced than the original masterpiece optimus figure. The other Magic Square optimus prime figures look really good.

    Short "Review of Magic Square Toys MS-02TC: *Disclaimer* To review the engineering part of the transformation: I had the 'X'-version of Magic Square's 2nd Prime in Hand. The toydeco of Optimus Prime has a special place in my heart, just because I never had a G1 Prime. Mine was the Powermaster. So as MS announced this version I was head over heels, cause it looks glorious. In-hand it's beautiful, shiny, the decals pop and the slightly altered facesculpt with yellow eyes gives you all the right G1 Toy tickles. The only thing off-putting is that the decals on the arms are attached slightly different. One is a bit higher into the elbow. Not a major gripe, but it's there. Engineering-wise he oozes machismo. Heroism to the max is achievable with all the articulation involved. It's too much to write it all down here. Take your time, it's a lot of fun to see what is all possible in there. I did not transform the TC, nor will I ever. I did transform the X though and apart from pegging it all together at the very end, the transformation is pretty smooth sailing. Overall a super strong offering from MS and probably the most beautiful Prime to get now and NOT such a blatant and feisty cashgrab like the official from Takara, that sell you stickers (Lego much?!) So for the TC: HIGH recommend!
