    I was conflicted if giving it 5 stars is valid, but in the end the pros far outweight the cons, especially if you like the JPN Headmasters (or want them in your collection) The good: - practically the only complete set of main headmasters (Japanese version) any scale (excluding scorponok/fortress as its a different scale altogether) - look really good in both modes - representing japanese G1 (US G1 were different and squeezed in s4, Japanese got their own 30+ episodes series to shine in) - the headmasters heads are cute and can be 'stored' in each of the bots alt mode - decepticons chestplates open showing stats like in the cartoon/g1 toys (+ Hardhead from autobots) - they scale quite well with the current legends - slightly higher than MS OP, shorter than MF Sixshot) - plastic is sturdy and feels good in hand - price... below 20$ a piece it's a steal The bad: - articulation is outdated for current standards (balljoints, 90 degrees max, forget ab crunch) - not clean as youd expect these days (gaps and waffles, nothing tragic but not great either) - a few loose joints (especially on the heads), nothing a little floor polish cant handle (and not much worse than some MS/NA offerings) - not all the autobots have the chests plate opening showing stats (hence I guess the recent dx9 mini Chromedome mitigating that) All in all a cool colorful (but not ugly) set to include in your display Wish more than 3 pics could be uploaded, this set is huge enough to validate more :(

    I absolutely love the characters from this set. I am a typically magic square collector so these are probably about as tall as you would want in bot modes - would also suit a legends plus collection. Some dates articulation eg chromedome’s shoulder but it’s a small complaint
